Winter Series - Without Wine Pairing Thursday 1st July from 6pm til late.

A$79.00

5 Dishes without Wine Pairing.

At Rustica Sourdough Bakery, we like things fun and vibrant, just like our pastries.

With the cold weather coming into Melbourne, jackets coming on, and the idea of being stuck in our houses for the next 3 months didn’t make us puff up with joy, like a croissant does.

Instead, we have decided to do a decadent, dinner series, with an array of dishes, purposely designed for the night, from fresh breads served fresh out of the oven, to never before tried Rustica Desserts lovingly baked for these one off events, and sold for the following month in our Bakeries across Melbourne. Think of it like a behind the scenes menu tasting, but with wine. Yep.

On the night:

You will be served 5 dishes for $79 including a starter, entree, two mains and a dessert (with a Vero Negroni taster on the side to enjoy with your dessert too, because, why not).

The wine pairing will be available for $40 on top and this will be something not to be missed.

To start the event off the way every night should, our friends at Taittinger from Champagne, France will provide their Cuvee Prestige.

Catalina Sounds Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough will pair the first course, followed by a Nanny Goat Pinot Noir from Central Otago (NZ) followed by Tar & Roses “The Rose” Shiraz from Heathcote.

On the night, one of the heads from JOVAL Wine Group who manage the whole portfolio and are one of Australia’s largest and most Prestige portfolios in the country, will be explaining the champagne and wines, as well as their pairings with every dish.

Our Head Chef, Sidney Tor (formerly Stokehouse & Koda), has designed a menu that oozes deliciousness, using the freshest produce our local Melbourne suppliers have to offer (think Fresh Luscious Scallops, Mouthwatering Meat, and maybe even a modern Lemon Creme Brûlée Tart in there on one of the nights, thought up by some of the best Pastry Chefs in Melbourne), who will also be talking about the dishes on the night.

We also have a few surprises up our flour covered sleeves for you to enjoy on the night.

Think intimate, think cosy, think of an experience, in the beautiful setting of Rustica.

Unfortunately, this is a First In, Most Excited scenario, as limited tickets have been issued on each night.
