Established in 2012 by Brenton Lang, Rustica on Chapel Street has become one of South Yarra’s go-to destinations for artisan pastries and café dining. As demand for our products has continued to grow, all pastries are now crafted on-site at our flagship South Yarra location, while our bread production has expanded to a large-scale wholesale facility in Footscray to ensure consistency and meet increasing volume. From savoury croissants and morning buns to our signature crullers, every pastry is made using traditional techniques and premium ingredients. More than just a bakery, our Chapel Street venue is a vibrant café operating seven days a week, offering both dine-in and fresh Grab & Go options.

Start your morning with a flavour-packed breakfast like our Chilli Scrambled Eggs or the indulgent Lobster Benedict. Swing by later for lunch and enjoy favourites like Grilled Prawn Tacos with slaw, tomato salsa, avocado, coriander, lime, and sriracha mayo, or our hearty Open Steak Sandwich with spicy tomato relish, seeded mustard aioli, Comté cheese, and fries — all served on house-made sourdough.
